Teamworks Somerset Session #1 champion Bristol Sweepers have secured another championship at the Teamworks Warwick Christmas Tournament.

The Sweepers displayed a strong offensive attack and effective defensive play in their first three games. Bristol combined for a total of 28 goals against an Exeter-West Greenwich, AYSO East Providence, and West Warwick team that was unable to score against a strong Sweeper defense.

Bristol advanced to the championship game and faced a strong Warwick Fire Fighter team. Defense proved to be the deciding factor in the game. The Warwick Fire Fighters were held to only one goal, led by the exceptional goal tending of Katie "Sparkle Hair" Golden and the effective defensive play of Tess McKenzie, Madisyn Pacheco, and Brooke Desmaris.

Bristol's offensive attack proved to be too much for Warwick to handle. The offense was led by Thea Brum with three goals while Madison Faria chipped in another. The offense was supported by the strong play of Priscilla Nichols and Jayme Forman.

Callie "Red Face" Burke's effective play on both the offensive and defensive sides of the field assisted in the Sweepers balanced attack while echoes of John Burke's screams rang throughout the facility.
