Bristol Success at Framingham Tournament

All five U12 and U14 teams qualified for Monday playoffs at the Framingham Memorial Day Tournament.
The Colts (U12A Division) followed a 4-0 pool play record with a 4-2 victory over the Framingham Cheetahs in the Finals.
The Strikers (U12C) were 0-2-1 in pool play, but rallied in the playoffs by defeating the Framingham Fireflies 4-3 in double-overtime and the Natick Comets, 2-1 to capture the title.
The Huskies (U12B) were 3-1 in pool play and defeated the previously unbeaten Wellesley Comets 1-0, before losing to the Waveland Waves 4-1 in the finals. The Huskies were also awarded the Sportsmanship Award for the U12B division.
The Revolution (U14A - Boys) ended pool play 3-1 and lost in the semi-finals 2-1.
The Force (U14B - Girls) were 3-0-1 in pool play and lost 1-0 in the semi-finals.
The Cyclones (U10A) were 2-2 for the weekend.
The Broncos (U10B) were 4-0 for the weekend.
The Sweepers U8 team finished second in the U9A division.
Thank you to all of the coaches (Ken Viera, Martin Avila, John DaSilva, John Tyler, Nelson Teixeira, Doug Klein and Scott Brum), assistant coaches and parents that endured the long, but successful weekend for the benefit of the children.
